Minimal Compositions: Group show

Overview

Our exhibition dedicated to minimalism will bring us a long-awaited touch of moderation and serenity.

Born in the United States in the mid-1960s, interpreted as a reaction to the subjective overflow of Abstract Expressionism and the figuration of Pop Art, Minimalism is characterized, among other things, by a concern for economy of means. It inherits the famous principle of the architect Mies Van der Rohe "Less is more".

The subtle balance of Antoine Gaussin's beaches mixed with the softness of Vinça Monadé's pastels will be perfectly combined with the astonishing still life precision of our newest photographer, Thierry Genay. Harmony and softness will be the key words of this first exhibition of the year.
