Summer Group Show: Group Show

This summer, we're delighted to introduce you to a brand-new artist: Jaime Sicilia. Originally from Spain, this artist and architect explores the boundaries between painting, sculpture, photography and video. In his 'Miroir de Keiko Nakamura' series, he draws on the elegance of ancestral Japanese traditions. Layer by layer—gesso, gold leaf, wax patina—he constructs a poetic metaphor of the mirror as an object of introspection and inner quest. Imperfections are deliberately preserved, in the spirit of wabi-sabi, inviting us to contemplate the beauty of the ephemeral and the fragile. Works by Jaime Sicilia will be set in dialogue with the latest sculptures by Marine de Soos, graceful and poetic, and the original, monumental paintings by Lídia Masllorens.
