Until July 5, we are exhibiting two artists whose major inspiration comes from Africa and its peoples. Silvia Calmejane uses mixed media - paint, collage, paper, wood, plexiglass - and likes to depict her female figures surrounded by lush nature. Marine de Soos evokes through her bronze sculptures distant lands with ancestral traditions, mysteries to be unraveled.
