Peter Keizer : Solo Show

To celebrate the arrival of spring, we are exhibiting oil paintings and sculptures by Dutch artist Peter Keizer, a graduate of the Rijksakademie and the Royal College of Arts over thirty years ago, until April 10th. Peter Keizer's world is populated by childhood memories, such as a sunny afternoon in a field of flowers or a dog running with delight. In his unique work, Peter Keizer often applies oil paint directly from the tube, creating a dense and generous texture that gives his paintings a sculptural quality, while his sculptures retain a deeply pictorial quality. For his solo show at the gallery, we are delighted to exhibit his recent work, where nature tends towards abstraction, as well as older works with a naive and figurative spirit.
