Palma Alvariño is an spanish artist based in Madrid. Her work is distinguished by a strong energy, where the creative process matters as much as, if not more than the final result.
Influenced by American Abstract Expressionism and Spanish Informalism, with references such as Motherwell, Kline, Tàpies, and Chillida, she has developed a personal style of painting guided by gesture and intuition.
