Biography

After a DEA in Modern History at the Sorbonne (Paris IV), Charlotte Champion has dedicated herself to sculpture. Trained in the Nicolas Poussin and
Jonathan Hirschfeld workshops, she began with clay by creating portraits and nudes ; before her predilection for the floral and animal motifs.
Charlotte Champion's creations have been exhibited by several art galleries in France, Luxembourg and in the USA. Her work has been rewarded by
numerous prizes and gold medals.

Some of her creations are embellished with a touch of bright color that she adds to the material's patina.

Her work is exclusively dedicated to the vegetal and animal world. Charlotte Champion's bestiary is inhabited by balancing elephants, acrobatic rabbits and birds about to take flight. Solidly fixed on their metal pedestals, they all defy the laws of gravity as an ultimate attempt to escape.
